If
- hosting companies were responsible for bugs in the sites they hosted,
- a user of a piece of software was responsible for the bugs in it,
- every contributor to an open source project was responsible for all the bugs in the project,
then the ICT world would look very different indeed.
Fortunately this is not the case.
