I've got a problem (well I don't know if its a problem) with the community! In the left site (the menu) is the item "News" and after the item is the green Number, which tells me, that there are 7 unread news. An even if I click on this item, it never dissapears. There is always the seven, even if i read the news for ten minutes.
Is this by the others too or is there a button like in the new forum [(Cool Design )] "Mark as read"

I think about maybe making a new section as a kind of welcome-area for new users and also as a kind of help of better said "feature overview". Because these are things which really aren't obvious. And there also might be useful things some users don't know of.

yes good idea,
For me it takes a lot of time before I got the use of some feature like green bar or + and - on the left side.
