pjsk8:
"There are just too many unknown factors."
sounds a little bit like
god := hope[[]humans(in bad position) + stupidity[]];
religions and sciene...

ermm, what i wanted to say:

"science is the archive of gone down religions."

but isn't it religion that creates our sense for wrong and right? isn't morality based on religion? isn't it religion that makes us different from the animals?
just some questions you should think about!

So, now that we're basically clear on our positions about "gods", where does everybody stand on the topic of aliens? Do you guys think that we're "alone"? I personally think that we can't be alone. If we were the only life in the universe, does that mean that we are some kind of accident? I dunno......I'm kind of drunk too.....

Do you think a human gene is source of the human spirit or soul? *imho* and how come science didnt cover that topic?? even though with clonning i surley dont believe a hibernation chamber gives the soul to a gene and gives it is human nature, probably if you start a chain of analytical subjects about God or no God you will end up wondering about the essence of stuff and think of the bigger picture as in who controls who and who controls what!!

And oh yeah, please please please cut the crap about wars and lets see behind the cover of religion what is really happening no offence to any person whom so ever but here is the big picture plain and as plain as it is 'Wars took place only because of the seeking of power on the weak where are the weak seems to be living on flourishing lands and thus those who have been hiding behind the cover of religion say lets call them terrorists and attack their lands and besides the world wont know what is going under the table a few deaths wont probably compromise their lives, and on ther other side where war took and still taking its place the people are stubmbled for they have done nothing and for defending that which they believe in they are called 'Terrorists' and named by slaughters of life but, if we concider the facts and history we can truley see the benefits taken * on the economical level that is* from these wars and what the blood of those has died gave' again i mean no offence to anyone but since we are talking in the 'Other Stuff' section mabe we should talk in a more explicit way. I have the most respect to all of you fine people here but i only seek what is right and deny that which is said to be true.

@doOdzZZ
First off, I want to know if you believe in God......if you don't wanna say, I understand, but if you do not believe in god, is there a point in believing in souls? Souls were basically a biproduct of religion as a way of trying to determine which part of you will go to 'heaven' or 'hell' if you die. Second of all, there have been many wars in which religion has had a factor, ESPECIALLY during the Middle Ages. People used to try to gain power or land in order to please their god! How can you tell me that religion has no cause in war? No offense to you, but I think you should research whatever it is you are trying to argue about before you try to force your crap into the picture. Think about it.

Basically, it all comes down to this:
We only have one life, a life that can only be judged by ourselves. If we believe we have led a 'sinful' life, then we have created hells for ourselves. "More a question than a curse, how could hell be any worse?"(<- Let's see how many people know where I got that from, and who gets it first). You only have one life to live, so make it good goddamn it! Lol.
