my classmate asked me if i can change her password on her vista laptop. i took kon-boot but it didnt worked. couldnt even start crashed in the beginning (and yes in bios boots the cd first). i tried to change the osk.exe file (i read that this is the for for the "easily visit" or sth like that link: http://www.wikihow.com/Login-Windows-Vista-Without-the-Password) to cmd.exe but i couldnt go into c: because there was written "access denied" on the cmd with the vista cd. even tried windows 7 and windows 8 developer preview but it was the same result. if i use win 2k and xp it crashes. could someone help me? thanks in advance and sry for my bad english |

I always found that Bart PE or something similar does the trick. Here is a link to a blog that talks about it and other password reset tools: http://geeksaresexy.blogspot.com/2006/01/forgot-your-windows-password-no.html |
