i try to install proxomitron on my cpu...
i do what they tell in the help to configure it namely : set manual configuration proxy : localhost port 80
but once i did this and proxomitron on, when i try to access any internet page i got the alert like :
connection is not possible to the proxy you configured. check the configuration (well not exactly those word since i transalte them)
so i just wonder what to do to make it work...???

goto internet explorer properties and then connections hilight your default connection then click the settings button put a tick in use proxy then click advance. set the proxy to
HTTP : LOCALHOST PORT 8080
SECURE : LOCALHOST PORT 8080
and leave the rest blank.

well i try to configure it for mozilla firefox
and there is no secion like SECURE :
but ive done it for the HTTP and i left the rest blank
and i dont think i use a proxy since before any modification i used direct connection to internet....
that's the problem..... i dont know what to do...if i have to configure something on proxomitron or not....

how was your programm called ... prox omitrion on port 80 80 ?

my program is called "the proxomitron"
and i dont know how to configure the http client ??(i only configure the http section with localhost through the port 8080

Which sort of clients display this special protocol ?

just learn some useful configurations..you won't need all
you don't have to kill your own internet...

yeah...or in other words... learn what a config is, and what you configure.
